We are thrilled to introduce our very first BONUS kickoff production to launch the 2026–2027 season! At Aletheia Legacy, we want more students to have the opportunity to perform on stage. That’s why we are launching our special kickoff production of Disney’s ARISTOCATS KIDS in Louisville this August!

Eligible students will participate in a two-week intensive at the SOUTHEND YOUTH THEATER as we kick off the school year together!

Performance Dates: August 14–15, 2026

  • Families who are supporting members of Aletheia Legacy

  • Students enrolled in South End Youth Theater

  • Students registered for our Summer Art Camp

Students attending the Hardin County camp who are interested in participating in this Louisville-based production should email:

mailto:info@aletheialegacy.com

If you cannot attend this camp please send us a video audition through Google Drive or Dropbox by June 15. Please have your child sing the first 52 seconds of “Everybody Wants To Be A Cat!” Reference track here. Please sing to this audition track!

Costumes: To help keep this production free and accessible for families, participants will be responsible for providing their own costumes.

Pre-production: Scripts will be given to select leads during the week of Louisville Art Camp. Not everyone will get a script. We will host an interest meeting after the GRAND SHOWCASE on Friday, June 19 @ NOON. We will have a check point meeting Tuesday, July 7th (more info to come.)

Rehearsal: Rehearsals begin August 4-6 & 10-13. Please notify us of any conflict during registration.

Is this show completely free? Not for us. Although we want to have a show accessible for children in our community, there is a price that our ministry is paying. Licensed stage productions cost money, LOTS OF MONEY. This is why we have tuition at the SEYT. This production will cost at least $3000 after you combine rights, tech rental, and facility costs. This is not including the man power and volunteers that will take the time to manage this production. We are looking for business sponsors and donors who wish to see through our vision for more opportunities like this.

Why are we doing this?: We understand that not everyone can commit to our programs throughout the year. As a ministry first, we desire to see more students impacted in their creative abilities. This kickoff production is our way to give some students the space that they need to utilize their talents as well as developing skills for team work, communication, worldview, problem solving, confidence, empathy, and memories being made with friends.
